when a filter is applied to a view, what data is affected?

Filter filters are a very neat way to bring a view into focus or to make the information you are looking at more important, to give it a higher value. However, your filter can also affect what is being displayed. For example, if you are looking at a view and you are looking at the date/time (or the time of day), the view will be affected by this. This may or may not be desired, depending on what you are looking at.

What is really interesting here is that the filter affects both the datetime and the time of day. This means you can use a filter to make your view more or less important, depending on whether you want to make it more or less important for your needs.

It’s not a major flaw, but it is a flaw. As I mentioned in the previous article, the datetime field is a datetime field, but the time of day field is a time field. What this means is that if you apply a filter to a view, all of the data in the view that is affected by the filter is affected by the filter.

I’m not sure this is a big deal, but it is a flaw. What if you want to apply a filter to your entire web page that only affects the datetime, but won’t affect the time of day, or vice versa? So what you end up with is a view that doesn’t include the time of day for that particular datetime, and that view will be affected by the filter that only affects the datetime.

What if you want to apply filters to your entire page that only affects the datetime, and not the time of day? That’s right, it’s not a big deal. For example, if you apply a filter to your entire page that only affects the datetime, you can always take out the datetime from the filter that only affects the time of day, and the time of day that would be affected by the filter that only affects the datetime.

This is a very common issue that I see when I’m trying to apply a filter to a view. If your filter affects both time and date, it can cause your entire view to be affected and you might not be able to keep a page up.
