As much as it sounds like a little thing, this is the crucial piece of the equation when it comes to heating and cooling your home. We all know that air conditioning is the easiest to install, but you can always use your own ducts and filters.

The pilot light or furnace light is the light that comes on when a pilot light is on, which is used to determine how much heat you can get from the furnace. I know this won’t save you from a furnace breaking down, but you shouldn’t have to take your house over the edge to fix it. The furnace is plugged into a gas line in a standard home and there is nothing in it that can cause a fire or anything else that could potentially harm people. If you do have a bad furnace, it is best to just unplug it and plug in new equipment.
