The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.

The autopilot is not always conscious, but it is constantly executing a plan. It is not just the mind doing it, but the body and brain as well. Some people, like the autistic, can be aware of this, but the majority of the people we see on a regular basis are in the autopilot.
There is also a “self-awareness” factor that we see when we’re on autopilot that can be quite useful. This is because when we are aware of our own actions, we can use it to control our actions. For example, if I am driving and I see that I am exceeding the speed limit, I can decide that I do not want to drive so fast that I will hit another car.
Imagine you are driving and you see that you are exceeding the speed limit. You take a mental note that you are driving so fast that you may get into an accident and this will cause you to do something you don’t want to do. This is an example of the kind of self-awareness that is needed to control what we do.

It was a few hours ago that we took a close look at all the scenes of the game’s story and discovered that Deathloop is a very pretty, very small game, and it feels like we’ve been watching it for a year.
